VAGGELIS PITHAROULIS IF ROMANTICISM IS NAIVETY, YOU CAN CALL ME NAIVE!   Born in Lasithi (his mother from Kentri and his father a shepherd from the Lasithi Plateau) he found his way in the magic world of music without any hereditary titles. The first instrument he tried the bouzouki.

Later he became a guitarist playing Greek popular music, later he tried the lute and since 1987 he hasn’t left the lyre from his hands 

Today, he is recognized as one of the most erotic, but also more successful musicians of Crete, with songs that are listened all over Greece, without betraying his Cretan musical tradition.

Vangelis Pitharoulis became our own erotic singer, the "Yannis Parios of Crete", known for his particular attachment to the muse of love, a muse that “will always be by my side” as he says… .
